YouTube celebrated its 20th anniversary yesterday by announcing that there are now 20 trillion videos in its library. In addition to sharing some interesting facts, YouTube also announced several new features that will be introduced in the near future. So, what should you know about it?

For your information, a new interface for the video player will be provided. Access to control buttons will be simplified as well as getting information about the video and accessing comments, as in the screenshot above. YouTube Premium subscribers will soon be able to access the 4x speed video viewing feature.

Currently, regular subscribers can only watch videos at 2x speed. Channel owners will soon be able to leave audio comments. This feature is currently being tested and is only available to select channels. YouTube Premium and Music subscribers will also be able to access the Ask Music feature.

Moreover, they can give YouTube a description of the genre or mood of the song they want to listen to. A playlist will be generated based on previous viewing history. Initially, Ask Music only supports voice commands in English in select countries.

Finally, YouTube TV users will be given the Multiview feature, with four channels that can be watched simultaneously and can be personalized by the user.
