YouTube now features a Mini Player, Speed Control and Sleep mode

YouTube is the streaming app with the highest number of users in the world. As the number one platform, YouTube has introduced several new features in the application that have only been given as a test. So, what should you know about it?

First up is the new mini-player display. Small windows for videos can now be resized within the app. There are play/pause controls and skip 15 seconds forward or backwards. Plus, the video speed can now be controlled in more detail. There is a slide button that changes the speed of the video dynamically. With this, it is no longer limited to the 0.25x increments given on each stab on the old interface.

Next, the new Sleep Timer sleep mode provides control to stop the video after 10 to 60 minutes with the option to increase the viewing time every 10 minutes. There is also an option to turn off the video when it reaches the end.

Finally, the feature awards badges to the channel's most loyal subscribers. This feature will be provided not only on the YouTube app but also on YouTube Music, The new feature will be introduced gradually on the Android, iOS and website applications.
