For YouTube content creators, the worst feeling is waking up one day to find a video you worked hard on taken down due to copyright claims. This usually means you'd have to edit out the copyrighted content before re-uploading. But now YouTube has a way to help you.

Recently, YouTube has updated its AI eraser tool to remove copyrighted music from videos without affecting other audio. This can be particularly useful for live-streamers who want to do commentary on other videos that may have copyright content or companies that are aggressive at copyright claiming (looking at you, Nintendo).

As explained by Creator Insider, content creators have several editing options when their content is flagged for copyright infringement. One feature was "Erase Song", which removes only the copyrighted song from a video. Now, YouTube has improved this feature with an AI-powered algorithm to more accurately identify copyrighted songs in a video for removal. As mentioned, this is done without affecting other audio sources like voiceovers and sound effects.

This editing option will soon be available in YouTube Studio desktop and mobile, so YouTube content creators can look out for that. So, how useful would this new feature be for you? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
