There are also times when users enable notifications to support a channel, but do not interact with the channel after some time.
YouTube says this change is only on the mobile app, and you can still access all notifications in the inbox section on desktop or web. However, if you interact with and watch all the videos from a channel's notifications, then no changes will happen to you.
