YouTuber builds world's largest functional Nintendo Switch

Some of you probably hook your Nintendo Switch to a large TV regularly. But have you ever played on a giant version of the console? A YouTuber decided to do just that and showed how it could be done on YouTube.

YouTuber Michael Pick talked about how he liked the Nintendo Switch but found that it could be easy to lose (track) of it. That inspired him to build the world's largest Nintendo Switch, one that you can actually play on. He used mostly wood and plastic for the buttons and frame of the machine, while the display is a large 4K panel that is 70-inch wide.

Of course, the entire construction is like a 'shell' for an actual Nintendo Switch console and Joy-Con controllers inside. In particular, the controllers are attached to mounts with servos that will help press the buttons, based on input from the physical buttons outside. Pretty neat, right? Anyway, Pick also decided to give it away to St Jude's Children's Hospital as charity after finishing the project, which is nice of him.

So what do you think about the project? Does it make you want to build one for yourself? Share your thoughts and comments below! Also, stay tuned to TechNave for more fun stories like this.
