When iOS 16 rolled out to the masses of iPhone users, many felt and reported that the battery life sort of got worse than before (including myself). However, that may change now with the new software update - iOS 16.1 which is now available to download.
The moment the update was available, YouTube channel iDeviceHelp decided to put it to the test on four iPhone models - the iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 13 Pro Max and of course, the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Before he tested the battery life, he showed all the iPhone battery performance on iOS 16.0.3 first, with the iPhone 14 Pro Max lasting the longest as expected.
After updating, all the iPhone Pro Max models actually did last longer this time. Compared with iOS 16.0.3, the iPhone 12 Pro Max now has an extra hour of battery life after a single charge. Interestingly, iOS 16 also allowed the iPhone 13 Pro Max to last longer than the iPhone 14 Pro Max, which lasted two and a half hours and an hour and a half respectively.
