Dark mode is a popular feature that many apps and operating systems have offered to users. For instance, vivo smartphone users can enjoy dark mode via FunTouchOS system. WhatsApp and Instagram have also adopted it, then Facebook's new desktop design also lets you choose the option. Oh wait, the Facebook app on both iOS and Android doesn't have one.
It's kind of ironic if you think about it, but thankfully that will change in the near future. According to wabetainfo.com, the Facebook development team is already working on it and the theme should look more or less similar vivo's version, or it could just go completely black like Instagram on iOS. Anyway, it's said that when the Facebook app comes with the new dark mode update on both iOS and Android, users can enable in the app's settings.
I'm not a big fan of the black dark mode (#AMOLED friendly) so I really like the new #Facebook dark theme

It is currently hidden and it is still in development so there are some small graphic glitches to be corrected but it is already well under way! pic.twitter.com/UZ7jjP3iHb
As you can see from the screenshots above, the development for Facebook app dark mode looks quite good. Since it's still in the works, we won't know when it's ready until Facebook officially rolls out the new update. Until then, stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
