Your Gmail will display the most relevant email at the top during the search

Gmail's email search feature has been around since the beginning of its existence. This morning, Google updated its search feature to display the most relevant emails to the account owner at the top. So, what should you know about it?

For your information, this is done with the help of artificial intelligence (AI) which looks at whether the email has been opened, how often it was opened, and who sent it. The algorithm will then prioritise these emails when searching. This is different from the previous functionality which gave priority to keywords in the given search query. Anyone who has used Gmail will agree that this is not very helpful. Users are still given control to display the most relevant email search results in chronological order.

Google says the smarter search feature is rolling out to personal account owners in phases first on the website, Android and iOS apps. Business users will receive it at an unspecified date. We have yet to confirm other details on the news. Hopefully, everything will be sorted out soon.
