Samsung Malaysia recently announced that their Samsung Galaxy S26 series phones can now answer unknown calls with a new feature called “Call Screening”. Instead of blocking out the call, you can activate it for an unknown caller.
How does Call Screening work on a Samsung Galaxy S26 series phone?
Once Call Screening has been activated, it will then use an AI voice assistant to ask who the caller is and other details. It will also generate a live transcript on the screen in real-time. You can then choose to answer the call yourself, reject it or type in answers for the AI Assistant to say to the caller.
Call Screening allows you to remain polite and find out more on the off-chance that it’s not a scam caller, and if it is, they won’t be able to clone your voice. What do you think?
