A couple of days ago, ZTE announced the Axon 30 Ultra Aerospace Edition would be released soon. So today is the day and compared with the Axon 30 Ultra 5G, there isn't much difference in terms of the tech specs and features.

In fact, the only difference between the Aerospace Edition and the ultra variant is the upgraded memory configuration. The reason why this new phone gets a fancy name is that it's the world's first device to come with 18GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. Keep in mind that this is actually using 18GB of RAM without any assistance from a virtual RAM expansion.

It's also worth noting that the box comes with a free pair of ZTE Live Buds Pro Bluetooth wireless earbuds with ANC. An aviation carbon cellulose leather casing can be found in the box as well. Besides the memory configuration, the rest of the specs are the same as the Axon 30 Ultra 5G which you can view below:

  • Snapdragon 888 chipset
  • 18GB of LPDDR5 RAM
  • 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage
  • Measures 161.53 × 72.96 × 8.0mm, weighs 188g
  • 6.67-inch AMOLED display (144Hz refresh rate, FHD+, 20:9 aspect ratio)
  • Quad rear camera - 64MP (main) + 64MP (ultrawide) + 64MP (portrait) + 8MP (periscope telephoto lens with IOS)
  • Front camera - 16MP
  • Features in-display fingerprint sensor, dual SIM card slot, USB C, 66W fast charging technology
  • Supports 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1
  • 4600mAh battery
  • MyOS11 based on Android 11

It seems to be an exclusive model for China at the price of 6998 Yuan (~RM4643). The ZTE Axon 30 Ultra 5G got launched in the Malaysian market back at the end of August for RM3599. We aren't sure of how well it did due to the lack of marketing but perhaps it was popular with ZTE fans. That's all, folks. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
