In the last few years, ZTE hasn't been very prominent in Malaysia. We're spoiled for choice these days, and ZTE hasn't been standing out compared to other Chinese brands. However, the company has been reaching out again and announced the new ZTE Blade A51.

ZTE Malaysia confirmed that a new ZTE Blade A51 is now available in Malaysia. In fact, the company has already started selling it on Shopee. This entry-level smartphone has a quad-core CPU, 2GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage. There should also be a variant with 4GB of RAM, though that doesn't seem to be available here. The chipset used is the Spreadtrum UniSoC SC9863A, which is a low-end chip for budget-friendly phones.

Besides the basic specs, the ZTE Blade A51 also has a 3200mAh battery, 6.52-inch HD+ screen, and NFC connectivity. In terms of cameras, there's a dual-camera (13MP+2MP) setup at the back and a 5MP front camera. The phone will operate on Android R Go, so don't expect to do stuff like play games on it.

ZTE Malaysia is retailing the ZTE Blade A51 here for RM419. This could be great for those with older family members who never got used to smartphones. But would you be interested in a phone like this? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
