For camera fans, Zeiss is a famous brand that manufactures some of the best camera lenses around. But few likely expected the brand to work towards producing an in-house camera. That's what Zeiss did in 2018, announcing that it would be releasing a camera powered by Android. It seems that this camera could be out soon.
Fast forward to 2020, DPReview has reported that the Zeiss ZX1 was found listed on B&H. It's on pre-order for USD6000 (~RM24909) at the moment, though no exact release date has been confirmed. However, B&H is a rather reputable site so we can probably assume this to be legit. It's also likely that the actual launch would be pretty soon.

Anyway, let's talk tech specs. The Zeiss ZX1 is expected to be a full-frame camera with a 37.4MP sensor and a fixed 35mm Distagon F2 lens. It's got a minimalist design, resulting in a relatively compact body that weighs about 837g with the 3190mAh battery included. Other notable specs are the max ISO of 51200, 512GB built-in SSD storage (how did they manage that?), and the 4.3-inch touch display.
With that said, do you think the Zeiss ZX1 is finally going to launch? And would you be interested in buying one? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned to TechNave.com for more updates on this camera.
