Honor Malaysia has been selling the honor 10 like hot cakes in Malaysia and it's no surprised, priced at RM1599 featuring high-end tech-specs, it's to be expected. However, we didn't expect an update coming so soon and according to sources, it will have a Party Mode and other user interface (UI) updates.
That being said, what IS Party Mode anyway? Does it turn your phone into a disco device? Well, not really. Party Mode simply enables other honor 10 devices and connect to each other with NFC connectivity, then play the same song at the same time. I guess for an outdoor activity, this saves costs on getting a speaker.
Another update is the UI for the AI Camera. So what the AI Camera does now is after detecting a scenery, a text message will be displayed to the user about the photo effect. The fingerprint sensor also got one with a stronger security measure, able to inform the owner if his or her current fingerprint sensor should be replaced with a new one.
Aside from that, other lesser updates are having better battery power performance, moving the HiCare app to the home menu instead of hiding in the Tools folder, security patches, some new UI themes and a live wallpaper.
We aren't sure when the update will take place, but honor Malaysia will surely let us know about it so stay tuned for more honor news at TechNave.com.
