The recently released honor 5X continues to offer premium metal looks and tech specs or features such as a 2nd generation frameless fingerprint sensor, 5.5-inch full HD IPS display and 3 different card slots (microSIM, nanoSIM and microSD) for a price tag below RM1000. While it has already been blown up by 1000 fireworks and still survived, the folks at Khaleej Times and Sa7i.com have decided to put it through some other torture tests, including scratch, burn, drop, hammer, liquid nitrogen and being driven over by a moving vehicle torture tests. The honor 5X from Huawei’s value added honor branch looks to offer even more value with its shiny, full-metal body, fingerprint scanner enabled features and more for below RM1000. In fact, even the most premium gold coloured version is only going for just RM939 (officially) but is it just premium looks and a few upper-end features or does it really bring enough value to it’s price tag?
