Today, honor has just recently revealed the honor 7C in China and it very familiar with the 7X model. Anyway, since it's released in China first, the starting price of the device is just 899 Yuan which is around ~RM554 which says a lot about its tier level. It comes in two variants based on memory or 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB. Below is the official tech-specs:
- 14nm Octa-core chipset + Adreno 506 GPU
- 3GB or 4GB of RAM
- 32GB or 64GB of internal storage (expandable memory available up to 256GB)
- 5.99-inch TFT LCD IPS display (18:9 aspect ratio)
- Dual rear 13MP + 2MP camera, 8MP front camera
- Features fingerprint sensor, face unlock, triple SIM slot, facial recognition,
- EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo
- 3000mAh

For some reason, honor didn't really specify the chipset brand but sources believe that the device is carrying a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor instead of a Kirin chipset that they always used. This explains why the price tag is so affordable and not to forget, the 14nm chipset supports Full HD+ displays nicely, as well as clocking in at 18GHz for the GPU. It should be noted that there is a dedicated microSD card slot as previously teased. In addition, we also got the telephoto lens wrongly from the teaser. Instead, the secondary camera is using a 2MP sensor which is used to create bokeh effect for the background.

The money shot
We won't be surprised if this model comes to Malaysia, seeing how affordable it is. Also, for the 4GB + 64GB model, it cost 1299 Yuan and that's roughly around ~RM800 only. Stay tuned for more honor news at TechNave.com.
