If you're an honor fan, chances are you have already heard of honor 8 not being able to update its operating system to Android 8.0 Oreo. That's a shame, but it doesn't mean that it will never get another update again. According to sources online, the phone has already got some new updates based on Android 7.0 Nougat. Below is the list of updates for the honor 8.

  • 3D panorama mode for shooting 3D pictures
  • A new security feature - having the option to let you enter your lock screen password every three days, this is to avoid "undesired access" and remembering your password better
  • A new recycle bin in Gallery app, deleted photos will be gone within 30 days if they are still left in there
  • Facebook Messenger app now has a split-screen key for split-screen mode without leaving the app
  • App twin feature is now added to the phone

The update should be available on over-the-air (OTA) in the phone's system update. So in case you haven't received it, you might want to manually go there to check it out or just wait for the new update. Stay tuned for more honor news at TechNave.com.
