By now, you should have heard about honor's latest smartphone that was unveiled just last night - the honor V10 and it sure packs a high-end specification that's almost equivalent to the Huawei Mate 10 series. But just in case you missed it, honor also showcased some new tech features that aren't in the V10 but is are very much inspired by Apple - their very own 3D sensor.

During the presentation, the spokesperson mentioned that the 3D sensor is currently in development and in the future, it will be integrated on the front camera and be able to process a detailed facial model with 300,00 points in just 10 seconds. They also claimed that the 3D sensor can unlock the phone in 0.4 seconds which is pretty fast.

On the other hand, there's also animojis and they seem to think that their version is much better than Apple's as it captures a more detailed tracking such as tracking your tongue. Overall, their animojis do look more animated than Apple's which are just using emoticons. But then again, all of this is still in progress.

When do you think their 3D sensor technology will be ready? Will we see it in Huawei's P11 and Mate 11 next year? Stay tuned for more honor and Huawei news at TechNave.com.
