After days from previous teasers, the iCaur V23 has officially launched in Malaysia, arriving as the second electric vehicle from the Chinese brand under the local iCaur subsidiary. The new EV goes on sale just a few months after the brand’s first model, and positions itself as a compact off?road?style electric SUV for city and adventure use, with a starting price of RM119800.
2WD and Intelligent AWD
As previously reported by sources, the V23 is offered in two powertrain variants. The base 2WD variant uses a single rear motor producing 136?PS and 180?Nm, paired with a 59.9?kWh LFP battery. According to the manufacturer, this configuration delivers a driving range rated at about 401?km (NEDC).

For those needing more performance and traction, iCaur offers an iWD (intelligent all?wheel drive) variant. This uses dual motors for a combined output of 211?PS and 292?Nm, with a larger 81.8?kWh NMC battery. The AWD version is rated for up to 430?km (NEDC) range, with a sprint from 0–100?km/h in roughly 7.5 seconds. Both versions are electronically limited to a top speed of 140?km/h.
Charging, Utility and Off?Road Readiness
The V23 supports DC fast charging: up to 85 kW for the 2WD version and up to 104 kW for the iWD version. Standard AC charging remains at 6.6 kW. It also includes a Vehicle?to?Load (V2L) function capable of 3.3 kW output. Though compact, the SUV’s chassis is designed to combine comfort and versatility: a front MacPherson strut setup and rear independent multi-link suspension deliver balanced handling across roads and light off-road terrain.

Dimensions and Design

The V23 measures approximately 4220 mm long, 1915 mm wide, and 1845 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2735 mm. Design-wise, the V23 carries a boxy, retro?inspired silhouette reminiscent of classic off?roaders, combined with modern EV styling cues. Flush door handles, pronounced wheel arches, and simplified surfaces give it a rugged yet urban?ready look.
Inside, the Malaysian-spec V23 drops the compact circular driver display seen in earlier previews in favour of a 15.4-inch central touchscreen that houses infotainment, ride modes, and vehicle settings. Connectivity includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Comfort features include ventilated seats, dual-zone climate control, power-adjustable front seats, and a multifunction steering wheel.

Price and Warranty
Locally, the V23 is priced from RM?119800 for the 2WD variant, and RM?132800 for the iWD (AWD) model. Both are sold as fully imported (CBU) units for now. Early buyers are reportedly eligible for an incentive package that includes a complimentary 7?kW home AC charger, an auxiliary instrument cluster upgrade, and extended warranty coverage for the battery, electric motor, and power unit up to 10?years or 200000 km.
