The Apple iPhone 7 Plus teardown

As usual of the iFixit folks, they've done a teardown of the Apple iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 revealing the tech specs that Apple usually doesn't talk about, the RAM and the battery. Both of these turn out to be 3GB LPDDR4 RAM and a 2900 mAh battery for the iPhone 7 Plus and 2GB RAM and a 1960 mAh battery for the iPhone 7.

The teardown also reveals plenty of sticky glue and a full-on rubber gasket to help with water proofing and new tri-point screws to go with the usual Pentalobe screws. A Taptic Engine-run solid state home button also means that the new iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 gets a fairly good repairability score of 7 out of 10.
