For those who are unaware, Apple Arcade has been available in Malaysia since late 2019. While not limited, its list of supported controllers isn't extensive either. Fortunately, the developer beta for iOS 14.5 brings support for new console controllers.

According to Wccftech, you can now pair a PS5 DualSense or Xbox Series X controller to your iPhone or iPad. This means that you can now play Apple Arcade games using the newer controllers. However, it's unknown whether you will be able to use the controllers' unique features on your devices.

Your controller should appear under "Other Devices"

Connecting the controller seems to be easy enough. You start by going to the Settings and turn on Bluetooth on your iPhone or iPad. Next, make sure that your controller is in pairing mode and it should be listed on your device under "Other Devices". Finally, tap on the controller you want to connect and voila!

Apple Arcade currently has an extensive list of over 140 games so it could be a good way to pass the time during MCO. Having said that, are any of you signed up to the service? Let us know if you think it's worth subscribing to it in the comments below! For more news like this, stay tuned to TechNave.
