Just past midnight last night, Apple has officially released the anticipated SharePlay feature in iOS 15.1. Besides that, the new software update also allows iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max users to capture ProRes videos and insert COVID-19 vaccination cards in their Apple Wallet.

For those who don't know, SharePlay was supposed to come in iOS 15 a few weeks ago but got delayed. This new feature is a new way for Apple users to share and watch a video, TV shows, movies, listen to songs, and among other things that you're surfing online across multiple Apple devices. That's right, besides the iPhone, you can do it on iPad, tvOS and macOS Monterey when the latest OS is released.

As for ProRes, that's only available for the iPhone 13 pro variants (256GB models and above only) as aforementioned. Should you turn on the option, you should know that a one-minute of ProRes video footage would take up 1.7GB of storage and 6GB of storage in HD and 4K resolution recording respectively. The COVID-19 vaccination cards don't seem to be available for Malaysia at the moment and that's something that the MySejahtera team may have to implement for the Apple Wallet app.
