So you've updated to iOS 17 but have no idea how to customise your Contact Poster. You've come to the right place. Finding your own Contact Poster is not as straightforward as your wallpaper but once you find it, it's pretty easy.

Nothing really happens after installing iOS 17 and first-time users may not know how to. Well, turns out that Contact Poster is just located at the Contacts app (not the Settings). Contacts can also be accessed in the Phone app as well, by the way. And when you go in for the first time, you will be greeted with this new feature and it's quite similar to customising your personalised wallpaper.

As you can see in the images below, you can choose to take a new photo or choose one from your album, using a memoji or a monogram. All of these are easy to navigate so just pick one that suits your style the most. If you don't know which one to pick, your iPhone can also suggest a few to you. You can also choose a wide variety of background colours for your monogram.

The overall customisation is more or less the same as making your own personalised wallpaper

All set and done!

Once you are done with customising your poster, you can have a final preview look before continuing. This will also ask you if you would like to change your Contact Photo that appears in your iPhone contact list. If you would like to change your Contact Poster again, simply go in the same way again and tap on 'Edit' -> 'Customise'.

That's pretty much it! iOS 17 can be downloaded and installed in your Settings -> General -> Software Update. Depending on your iPhone model, the file is at least 3GB so make sure you have a good internet connection. Have fun creating your Contact Poster!
