Today, the new iOS 17, iPadOS 17, watchOS 10 and tvOS 17 are available to download and install on your Apple devices. There are a couple of new features in each respective operating system, so without further ado, do check out below on the breakdown below.
There are a ton of features and updates on iOS 17. To briefly go through them, you can now customise your wallpaper to let your friends and family see when they call you (and vice versa). iMessage is also improved to access apps you send the most, and catch up messages that you missed in a conversation at your convenience. StandBy is also available when you charge your iPhone on its side.
Next, iPadOS 17 makes your Lock Screen more personalised than before and the Live Photo wallpaper has a motion effect. You can put multiple widgets on the Lock Screen if you like and like iOS 17, the widgets are interactive as well. iPadOS 17 gets the same new treatment from iMessage, stickers, FaceTime and others.
On the other hand, watchOS 10 offers a new Smart Stack widget view, new watch faces, redesigned apps (like Weather, Stocks, Home, Maps, Messages and others), and the side button opens up the control centre. Finally, one of the highlight features on tvOS 17 is adding FaceTime and it works through iPhones and iPads with the latest software update.
