Over the last few weeks, Apple had some production issues due to the protests that happened in one of its factories. The Chinese government was imposing some strict COVID restrictions and Apple was behind by six million iPhone 14 Pro units.

Fast forward to the present time, it seems that mass production is back on track and availability got improved after Christmas. According to J.P. Morgan analyst Samik Chatterjee, the supply is improving and waiting times are no longer than two weeks. Previously, we would have to wait for a month for the shipment as seen on the official website.

Sources also say that production is now operating at around 70%, which is a huge increase compared to a month ago. However, the production shortfall back then really affected Apple's shipment. It was forecasted that a total of 56 million iPhones would be shipped in Q1 2023 but it got downgraded to 47 million.

Anyway, if you are one of the customers who have been waiting for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models, this is definitely good news for you. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
