For a few years now, the one thing that some Apple users disliked (but got used to) is the notch on the display of iPhones. The company is not in a hurry to implement an under-display camera. But a change could be made next year.

According to The Elec, the Apple iPhone 14 Pro models with a 'hole display' next year. This means that the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max (tentative names) will have a punch-hole camera, instead of the thick notch we've come to expect. Moreover, Apple will continue to use LTPO OLED panels for the displays, allowing for refresh rates of up to 120Hz.

Interestingly, there are also some details on the sizes of the display. The source claimed that the regular iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro would feature a slightly smaller 6.06-inch display. On the other hand, the iPhone 14 Pro Max will stick to a 6.7-inch sized display. Besides that, the non-Pro variants will retain the notch.

If this rumour is true, 2022 could be the right year to upgrade, especially if you hate notches. But what are your thoughts on this, does the notch bother you? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for further updates about this.
