We are less than one week away from the release of the iPhone 14 Series and more alleged leaks are coming out regarding the upcoming Apple smartphones. The latest of which is in regards to how the iPhone 14 Pro series will allegedly combine its two display cutouts into one seamless pill-shaped cutout via software.

According to renowned insider Mark Gurman, iOS 16 will black out the space between the two cutouts so that the experience using the device won't be 'odd'. Moreover as reported by 9to5Mac, the digitally blacked-out screen will also serve a purpose.

Quoting a source familiar with Apple’s plans, 9to5Mac said that the space will be used to show the iPhone's privacy indicators for the camera and microphone. In previous models, the indicators are located to the right of the notch and will light up a small green dot to notify users.

With the iPhone 14 Pro Series, there will allegedly be two dots that will light up when either the mic or camera is in use. Well, as of right now, do take this with a grain of salt as nothing is confirmed as of yet. Let's wait until 7 September to find out together!
