As you know, the Apple iPhone 15 series is another month away. But rumours of the new iPhones have been rampant in recent weeks. We've had news about upgraded storage capacities, a new Action Button, and more. Now, we also know which models would feature the new chipset.

According to HT Tech, Apple's next mobile SoC - the A17 Bionic - will be equipped on the iPhone 15 Pro models. If true, the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max would be the first devices to feature a 3nm chipset. On the other hand, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will most likely remain with the A16 Bionic chip.

That isn't surprising, as the iPhone 14 series has a similar chipset allocation. For reference, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus sport the 5nm A15 Bionic chip. On the other hand, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max have the A16 Bionic chip.

Regardless, all four models should improve in performance. The performance jump would be even more noticeable if you upgrade from the iPhone 13 series or earlier. However, we might also see an increase in pricing, so keep that in mind.

With that said, are you planning to get any of this year's new iPhones? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned TechNave for more news like this.
