iPhone 15 series has up to 8GB of RAM but no battery life upgrades

As usual, Apple is notoriously known for leaving out details on the RAM, battery life and other minor details. There's a good reason for that, since iOS operates differently from Android but that's another topic for another day. In this news, sources have confirmed the said figures for the latest iPhone 15 series

According to sources, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are confirmed to feature 8GB of RAM, an improvement from 6GB of RAM last year. It's a small number in the Android world, but the new A17 Pro chip won't have much problem handling that as it specializes in efficiency and power distribution for multitasking. As for the non-pro variants, their RAM remains at 6GB.

As for the battery life, sources also found out that the battery life estimation for the iPhone 15 series lineup has not changed from its predecessors. The details were compared in Apple's official iPhone comparison tool (image below) so that's a bit disappointing. That said, perhaps the new A17 Pro chips may do something differently but we shall see.

In other news, media at the Apple Event also confirmed that the iPhone 15 Pro Max can reach up to 25x digital zoom. If compared with other competitors, it's below average as the latest Samsung Galaxy flagship can reach up to 100x Space Zoom. But then again, most hyper-zoom shots have rather quite poor-quality images.
