We are around 1 month away from the release of the Apple iPhone 16 series and some alleged specs of the series have popped up online. Specifically, the battery capacities for the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max have been revealed by a tipster, so read on to learn more.

According to GSMArena which sourced a reliable tipster on Weibo, the iPhone 16 Pro will reportedly feature a 3577mAh battery. While that doesn’t sound much for Android enthusiasts, it’s actually 9 per cent larger than the iPhone 15 Pro which has a 3274mAh cell.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 16 Pro Max is touted to sport a 4676mAh battery. This is 5 per cent more than the iPhone 15 Pro Max which has a 4441mAh cell.

Like previous iPhones, Apple is still banking on the efficiency of its mobile processors to make battery life last longer rather than having large battery cells. Well, maybe someday the company will utilise both for its smartphones.

Of course, do take this with a grain of salt as nothing is confirmed yet. Until then, stay tuned to TechNave for more trending tech news.
