Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has predicted that Apple may be releasing a brand new iPhone in Q1 of 2020. However, this upcoming device may be much cheaper than what Apple had offered during the last keynote. This device may be the iPhone SE2 and it is expected to launch with a USD$399 (~RM1670) price tag.

It is expected that the device may look like the iPhone 8 but with upgraded tech specs and hardware such as the A13 Bionic chipset, 3GB RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. The price tag of the current iPhone 8 is USD$449 (~RM1879) but due to the previous iPhone SE pricing, it may be more viable if the device’s price is at USD$399 (~RM1670).

The iPhone SE2 is made to attract iPhone users who are still on the iPhone 6 to update their devices since only the iPhone 6s and above support the latest iOS. The price tag of this device will definitely bring in more users to Apple as it will attract the mid-range device users, especially from China and India. Would you jump to iOS?
