The day has finally come, Microsoft is excited to announce that Phone Link for iOS has been rolled out to all Windows 11 customers. With this, iPhone users can get calls, messages and access to contacts on their Windows 11 PC.
To get yourself started, all you have to do is just find "Phone Link" in your Windows 11 search box and it should appear immediately (it's installed by default. After that, you just have to follow the step-by-step guide to pair your iPhone and you're all set. It should be noted that your iPhone needs to have iOS 14 and higher, as well as the latest Phone Link app version.
On top of that, do also keep in mind that this feature is not available for iPadOS or macOS. Microsoft also shared a note that image/video sharing and group messaging are not supported. In other words, you will only get to message one person, which will only come through when connected to the PC.
Android for Phone Link has been around for a very long time but not many users use that (at least in our experience). Although this feature is quite limited, it's the first step to making accessibility available to iOS users. Phone Link for iOS on Windows 11 is now rolling out to 39 languages across 85 markets.
