Today, iQOO Malaysia has unveiled the iQOO 12 5G and it costs RM3399. There is only one variant which is the vanilla version instead of the pro, and the only memory configuration is 16GB + 512GB as opposed to the multi-variants in China.
The pre-order for the iQOO 12 5G begins today until 11 December 2023 when customers can get the phone at a lower rate of RM3349 (RM50 off). Freebies include a pair of iQOO TWS Air 2 earbuds, 1-Year Extended Warranty and a 1-Year Screen Crack Protection. The phone's promo price will continue after that during the 12.12 campaign until 18 December 2023 but exchange the earbuds for up to 10% vouchers on Lazada, Shopee, TikTok Shop and vivo's e-Store.
Since we only have one memory variant, the rest of the tech specs remain the same. Besides the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the standard iQOO 12 features a 6.78-inch AMOLED 144Hz display with HDR support, 3000nits peak brightness, 2160Hz PWM dimming and more. If you wish, you can add on extra virtual RAM up to 16GB, making it a total of 32GB of memory.
The iQOO 12's triple rear camera consists of a 50MP (main, OIS) + 64MP (periscope telephoto + 100x digital zoom) + 50MP (ultrawide) setup, while the front camera is 16MP. Its battery pack is quite large as well but expected since it's a gaming phone, coming with 5000mAh and supporting 120W fast charging technology.
What do you think of the iQOO 12 5G? And do you want the iQOO 12 Pro 5G to come too? Perhaps it will if there's enough fan demand. Until then, stay tuned for the official news by vivo Malaysia.
