If you are a fan of iQOO phones, you might know the iQOO 12 was released recently. Today, the company has launched a new variant of the phone. So, what should you know about it?
For your information, this variant was released in conjunction with the Chinese New Year. This phone will feature a more vibrant and bolder flame colour compared to the two original colours before it. Besides that, there are no changes in specs or performance. Simply said, it’s a new look with the same processing power.
To recap, the phone features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the standard iQOO 12 features a 6.78-inch AMOLED 144Hz display with HDR support, 3000nits peak brightness, 2160Hz PWM dimming and more. If you wish, you can add on extra virtual RAM up to 16GB, making it a total of 32GB of memory.
Camera-wise, it sports a triple rear camera consisting of a 50MP (main, OIS) + 64MP (periscope telephoto + 100x digital zoom) + 50MP (ultrawide) setup, while the front camera is 16MP. Its battery pack is quite large as well but expected since it's a gaming phone, coming with 5000mAh and supporting 120W fast charging technology.
We have yet to confirm the Malaysia release date for this variant. However, we could expect it to arrive soon. If you are interested, you might want to get it while it is still available
