The iQOO 13 is finally officially launched. It makes the device one of the first to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. So, what should you know about it?
For your information, this phone features a 6.82-inch 2K resolution screen with an LTPO 2.0 AMOLED panel made by BOE and a 144Hz refresh rate. It also uses a Q10 display with a maximum brightness of 1800 nits, 2592Hz PWM dimming and a punch-hole display that houses a 32MP selfie camera.
In addition to Qualcomm's latest chip allegedly receiving a score of 3 million in the AnTutu test, the device also comes with the Q2 gaming chip which is said to offer PC-level texture resolution. The rear camera features a 50MP Sony IMX921 wide lens, 50MP Samsung S5KJN1 ultra-wide and 50MP Sony IMX816 telephoto lens.
Moreover, the camera module is also surrounded by RGB lighting with 6 dynamic effects and 12 colour combinations that can display notifications, music reactions and show battery status. Interestingly, it can also display victory status and 'kills' for selected games, such as Honor of Kings.
Furthermore, it houses a 6150mAh capacity silicon carbon battery with 120W wired charging support. The device also comes with an IP69/IP68 waterproof and dustproof rating. Other specifications are such as 5G, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and running OriginOS 5 based on Android 15.
Plus, the iQOO 13 is offered with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x memory and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. It is sold at a starting price tag of RMB3,999 (~RM2,456). For now, the iQOO 13 is limited to the Chinese market and may be coming to the Malaysian market soon.
