Launched in October 2025, the iQOO 15 offered a flagship device with a big battery, powerful performance, and other premium features at a relatively affordable price. Now, the company has unveiled the superior iQOO 15 Ultra in China. Let's see what it has to offer.

Tech specs and features

Based on the store page, the iQOO 15 Ultra shares many of the hardware features found in the standard iQOO 15. This includes a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. Its standout feature is the "Ice Dome", a large 17x17mm internal cooling fan capable of moving air at 0.315 cubic feet per minute (cbm).

Like the iQOO 15, the iQOO 15 Ultra sports a 6.85-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 3168×1440 resolution, and 118% DCI-P3 colour gamut. It also offers a notable battery capacity upgrade to 7400mAh (vs 7000mAh). Camera-wise, the Ultra model maintains the same setup. There's a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. As for the front, it sports a 32MP selfie camera.

Price and availability

As usual, the iQOO 15 Ultra debuted first in China. The Malaysia release hasn't been confirmed, but we're expecting to see it after the Chinese New Year or possibly in March. That's also when MWC 2026 will happen, so perhaps iQOO will announce global launch dates at the event. Regardless, prices for the iQOO 15 Ultra variants are as follows:

  • 16GB/256GB - 5700 yuan (~RM3211)
  • 16GB/512GB - 6000 yuan (~RM3380)
  • 16GB/1TB - 7000 yuan (~RM3944)
  • 24GB/1TB - 7700 yuan (~RM4338)
