It has been a few weeks since the iQOO 15 was released in China in October. Today, iQOO officially confirmed that this gaming phone is coming to Malaysia soon. It has already appeared on Malaysia’s SIRIM certification, signalling an imminent local launch.
Built For Serious Mobile Gamers
At its core, the iQOO 15 runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, built on an advanced 3nm process and featuring the third-generation Qualcomm Oryon CPU. The device also pairs this flagship processor with UFS 4.1 storage and LPDDR5X Ultra Pro RAM, enabling blazing-fast read/write speeds of up to 10.7Gbps.
Additionally, the Supercomputing Chip Q3 takes graphics processing to another level with three dedicated cores — DA Core, RT Core, and AI Core — that together enable PC-level frame stability and ultra-smooth gameplay. The iQOO 15 is also the first smartphone to support AI-based super-sampling, allowing true 2K resolution in supported titles while maintaining performance efficiency, as well as being Android’s first self-developed Ray Tracing engine.
With these gaming capabilities, iQOO collaborated with popular titles like Honkai: Star Rail, Delta Action, and Honor of Kings to deliver customised lighting, haptic feedback, and exclusive features. These include “Match Review” and “Highlight Auto Recording,” which allow players to analyse and relive their best moments.
Other High-End Tech Specs
Jointly developed with Samsung, the iQOO 15 debuts the Samsung 2K M14 LEAD OLED Display, offering 2600 nits global brightness (HBM) and 6000 nits peak brightness. It is also equipped with a Triple Ambient Light Sensor, up to 118% of the NTSC color gamut, Polarization-Free Natural Light Display, while earning multiple TÜV Rheinland certifications — including Full Care Display, Circular Polarization, and Flicker-Free — ensuring superior eye comfort and safety.
The iQOO 15 debuts OriginOS 6, the latest iteration of iQOO’s interface, powered by the Origin Smooth Engine. Engineered for long-term fluidity, the system promises a seamless experience for up to five years. New features like Copy & Go and Drag & Go make multitasking faster and more intuitive, while One-tap Transfer for iPhone and Office Kit for Mac enhance cross-device connectivity for users working across ecosystems.
Coming Soon to Malaysia
Malaysian fans can expect the flagship to arrive this December 2025, bringing next-level performance, immersive gaming, and display brilliance to the market. For context, the iQOO 15 (12GB + 256GB) model is 4199 yuan (~RM2490), so we can expect that starting price as well. Until then, stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
