Previously, we reported that the iQOO 15 received its SIRIM certification, which is an indication that a local launch will happen soon. But like most Chinese smartphones, the iQOO 15 has made its debut in China first. Now that the phone has launched, let's see what it has to offer.
Tech specs and features
As revealed by iQOO, the iQOO 15 comes in four variants. Three of them are relatively plain colours like Black (Track), Green (Wilderness), and Silver (Legendary). However, there's also a "Lingyun" edition that has a wavy cloud-like design. It does have a rather thick camera bump, but iQOO has included a matte back cover that offers a smooth texture.

Under the chassis, the iQOO 15 sports a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, 12GB/16 of LPDDRX5 Ultra Pro RAM, and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. At the back, the phone features three 50MP cameras. The setup consists of a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP telephoto camera. There's also a 32MP front camera for selfies.
As for the display, the iQOO 15 packs a large 6.85-inch AMOLED display with a 3168×1440 resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. Powering the iQOO 15 is a massive 7000mAh battery. The phone also supports 100W wired charging and 40W wireless charging. Lastly, the iQOO 15 uses a large 8000mm2 single-layer vapour chamber for increased heat dissipation.
