iQOO 15 telephoto camera samples and more specs teased online

As announced last week, the iQOO 15 is set to launch in China sometime this month. It's confirmed to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, Qualcomm's new top-tier flagship mobile system on chip (SoC). Now, more details have been confirmed.

 

Expect incredible telephoto performance

Yesterday, iQOO posted some sample telephoto shots captured by an iQOO 15 phone. As you can see, the Berlin TV tower in the image looks sharp and detailed. iQOO didn't reveal what zoom this is, but it's most likely digital zoom, considering the distance. In other words, the photo's quality could be thanks to AI enhancement. Regardless, the results are impressive.

More specs confirmed

In related news, Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station has posted more details about the upcoming iQOO 15. First, the phone will have a 6.85-inch 2K AMOLED display, with a 144Hz refresh rate and 3168x1440 resolution. The iQOO 15 is also expected to have a 7000mAh battery, 50MP 1/1.5-inch main camera, and 50MP telephoto camera. In terms of features, it supports 100W fast charging and "max level waterproofing". For your info, the current highest IP rating is IP69K.
