
The iQOO 15R has finally been officially launched, showcasing a combination of compact design and premium specifications in its class. So, what do you need to know about it?
It’s shaping up to be a solid device
For your information, the iQOO 15R features a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 5000 nits. It is also covered with Schott Xensation Alpha glass for durability.

Moreover, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage, then runs Android 16 based on OriginOS 6 with four years of OS update support and six years of security.
Furthermore, the device is equipped with a 7600mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging. For the camera, it offers a 50MP Sony LYT-700V main lens, an 8MP ultrawide and a 32MP selfie. Then, it comes with a Q2 Supercomputing chip, 6.5K IceCore VC cooling system, 144 FPS BGMI gaming support, an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner, NFC, stereo speakers, IR blaster and IP68 and IP69 ratings as a complement.
Besides that, the iQOO 15R is offered in three variants, namely 8GB/256GB priced at INR44999 (~RM 1926), 12GB/256GB priced at INR47999 (~RM 2054) and 12GB/512GB priced at INR52999 (~RM 2268).
As of now, there are no further details on the Malaysian release date for the phone. So, we should wait for further announcements from iQOO Malaysia
