The iQOO Z8 might come sooner than we think. According to leaks from a reliable source, the company is working on the launch of a Z-series mid-range smartphone. The rumoured phone might also come with the iQOO 11s this late August in China.

According to the leak, the iQOO Z8 could feature a 144Hz LCD, Dimensity 8200 chipset, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage. The leak also suggests this phone will be a high-performance sub-flagship smartphone. The iQOO Z8 could feature a dual-cell battery configuration, which provides up to 5000mAH of combined battery capacity. Like the iQOO Z7, it also supports 120W fast charging.

In addition, rumour says it could also feature a 6.64-inch IPS LCD Display, FHD+ 1080 x 2388 resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate. As of now, there is no official confirmation on the display specs. However, sources in China also claimed that the iQOO Z8 might come with the Dimensity 8200 chipset.

Interestingly, iQOO previously used Qualcomm chips for the earlier Z-series models. For example, the iQOO Z7 featured the Snapdragon 782G, while the iQOO Z6 (Chinese edition) from the previous year came equipped with the Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset. As of now, only time will reveal the true nature of this phone.
