iQOO Z8 to launch this 31 August, features Dimensity 8200 SoC

iQOO has confirmed that it will be holding an event in China on 31 August for the launch of the iQOO Z8 and iQOO Z8x. Besides that, the company has also revealed some key specs of the former, including its processor and RAM. 

Taking to its official Chinese website, iQOO announced that the event would take place at 7pm local time on the aforementioned date. The webpage also shows the rear design of the iQOO Z8, which features a square camera module with dual cameras.

The camera bump also confirms that the cameras, or at least one of them, will support OIS. The renders also allude to the smartphone’s two colour options; white and blue. 

Previously, the company has already revealed the key specs of the iQOO Z8, which includes a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC paired with 12GB of RAM, 120W charging and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The smartphone will also have a 3.5mm audio jack, which is fast becoming a rare feature these days. 

So, we just have to wait for next week to find out the full specs of the iQOO Z8 and iQOO Z8x, with info on the latter not revealed yet. Until then, do stay tuned to TechNave for more trending tech news.
