iQOO has just released its latest mid-range offering in India, the iQOO Z9s series 5G. Comprising the Z9s 5G and Z9s Pro 5G, read on to learn more about both devices.
Both the Z9s and Z9s Pro feature a 6.67-inch curved 120Hz AMOLED panel with 1800 nits peak brightness, 4500 nits local peak brightness, an under-display fingerprint scanner and a centre punch-hole cutout housing a 16MP selfie shooter. At the rear, both also feature the same 50MP IMX882 main camera with OIS, but the Z9s Pro sports an 8MP ultra-wide while the Z9s only gest a 2MP portrait sensor.
Under the hood, the Z9s Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, while the Z9s features a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC. Both features up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
Battery-wise, both feature a massive 5500mAh battery, but the Z9s Pro has a faster 80W charging compared to the Z9s’ 44W.
Other notable specs both smartphones share include Android 14 via Funtouch OS 14, an IP64 rating, 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of security updates. The Z9s starts at INR19999 or ~RM1043 for 8/128GB and is offered in Titanium Matte and Onyx Green colours.
Meanwhile, the Z9s Pro starts at INR24999 or ~RM1304 and is offered in Luxe Marble and Flamboyant Orange (vegan leather back) colour options. As of the time of writing, no announcement about the series’ global availability has been made yet.
