As we’ve alluded to previously, iQOO Malaysia has announced its latest smartphone offering, the iQOO Z9 series 5G. Comprising the Z9 5G and Z9x 5G, this article will focus on the latter, which is the cheaper variant of the 2.
Available for pre-order now until 8 May, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Under the hood, there’s also a massive 6000mAh battery with support for 44W FlashCharge via the USB-C port.
Display-wise, it’s a 120Hz Eye-Care panel with 1000 nits peak brightness and a centre punch-hole cutout housing the 8MP selfie shooter. At the rear, you’ll find the 50MP main + 2MP bokeh dual-camera setup.
Other notable specs include microSD card expansion up to 1TB, an IP64 rating, NFC, dual speakers with 300% boosted volume and colour options of either Mystic Black or Norther Green. In Malaysia, the Z9x 5G is priced at RM879. with pre-orders available on iQOO Malaysia’s official store from now until 8 May.
