This week, myFirst has unveiled a new lineup of child-focused technology during its “Explore Together” launch event, introducing several new devices designed to make technology safer and more meaningful for children and families.
The new portfolio is led by the redesigned myFirst Insta Lux instant camera, alongside additional ecosystem devices, including myFirst Fone M1, myFirst Frame Clario, myFirst Sketch Board Pro, myFirst CareBuds Max and the updated myFirst 3dPen Make Creator Kit. According to the company, the goal is to create technology designed specifically for children while encouraging safe exploration and stronger family connections.
The myFirst Insta Lux
The centerpiece of the launch is the new myFirst Insta Lux instant camera, priced at RM799. Each purchase includes two complimentary refill packs containing 20 print sheets. Unlike traditional instant cameras that focus purely on capturing photos, the device is designed to combine digital creativity with physical photo printing.

It features dual 5MP front and rear cameras, a 2.8-inch IPS display for framing shots, WiFi connectivity, up to 64GB of expandable storage and USB C charging and support for receiving photos from a parent’s smartphone through the myFirst Circle app. The camera uses dye sublimation printing technology to produce vibrant and durable colour prints. It also includes creative frames and filters that encourage storytelling and self-expression among children.
While the myFirst Insta Lux focuses on real-world creativity through instant printing, it also connects to the digital world via the myFirst Circle app. Parents can securely send selected photos from their smartphones to the camera for instant printing. The app also enables private sharing within a family-managed network instead of an open social media environment, reinforcing the company’s focus on safe digital experiences for children.
The myFirst Family Ecosystem

myFirst Fone M1
Alongside the instant camera, myFirst introduced several additional devices designed to support communication, creativity and hands-on learning. The myFirst Fone M1 is a 4G-enabled smartwatch phone for children that offers GPS tracking, voice and video calls, and messaging within the myFirst Circle ecosystem. It aims to give children an introduction to communication while allowing parents to maintain oversight.
The myFirst Frame Clario is a 7-inch smart family frame that supports private photo sharing and one-tap video calls. It also includes customizable ambient soundscapes designed to create a calming home environment. Additionally, the myFirst Sketch Board Pro is a lightweight digital drawing tablet that encourages children to sketch and brainstorm ideas without distractions, while the myFirst CareBuds Max wireless headphones feature child-safe volume limiting between 85 and 94 decibels.

Roadshow and Promotions at Sunway Pyramid
Following the launch, myFirst will host a public roadshow at Sunway Pyramid from 26 to 29 March 2026 at the LG2 Orange Concourse. Visitors will be able to test the new devices at interactive demo stations, including instant photo printing with the myFirst Insta Lux and hands-on experiences with the 3dPen Make Creator Kit.

Shoppers who spend a minimum of RM199 during the event will qualify for a lucky draw with prizes including the myFirst Fone R2 and other exclusive rewards. On 28 March at 10 AM, the first 100 customers who purchase the myFirst Insta Lux will receive a complimentary myFirst Fone M1 smartwatch phone.
