Today, nubia took the chance to unveil a new tablet with 3D viewing features. Dubbed the nubia 3D Pad, it also marks the company's first Android tablet with 3D viewing without the need for any 3G glasses.

From the promo video below, the nubia Pad 3D features a Snapdragon 888 5G chipset and a huge 9070mAh battery pack. To fully support its 3D capabilities, it has a few Leia technology features with the likes of LeiaPlayer, LeiaCam, LeiaChat, LeiaTube and many more. Its IPS LCD is 12.4 inches and supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 16:10 aspect ratio.

To display the 3D effects, Leia Inc helped developed a DLB later with its Leia 3D Lightfield mode. This helps the tablet to transform 2D content into 3D in real-time. There's also a pair of 8MP front cameras to track the user's face and provide a 3D viewing experience on the go. On top of that, you can also use the dual front cameras and the 16MP rear camera to scan objects into 3D photos and videos.

There are two storage variants of the nubia Pad 3D - 128GB and 256GB (expandable with a microSD card) but no price tag was revealed. It is unknown if the tablet would even go on commercial sale globally, let alone in Malaysia. But what do you think?
