
nubia has released the successor to last year’s foldable nubia Flip, aptly named the nubia Flip 2. Launched in Japan recently, the clam-shell foldable smartphone features improvements from the previous iteration, so read on to learn more.
Under the hood, the Flip 2 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X SoC paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Battery-wise, the smartphone has a 4300mAh cell which supports PD 3.0 charging via the USB-C port.

Screen-wise, the inner display is a 6.9-inch foldable AMOLED with an FHD+ resolution, while the outer display is now a bigger 3-inch screen with a 682 x 422p resolution. As for cameras, the main camera is a 50MP shooter paired with a 2MP depth sensor, while the selfie shooter is a 32MP camera.
Other notable specs include IP4X and IPX2 ratings, various AI features and colour options of either Black, White or Blue. In Japan, the Flip 2 is priced at JPY64080 or ~RM1838, with global availability yet to be revealed.
