nubia Flip 5G release - The company’s first-ever foldable device from ~RM2852

As we’ve alluded to previously, nubia launched its first-ever foldable device during MWC 2024, the nubia Flip 5G. Featuring some compelling specs at a mouthwatering price point, read on to find out about the device. 

As shared by GSMArena, the device's most notable feature has got to be the foldable display, which is a 6.9-inch 120Hz AMOLED with an 1188 x 2790 pixels resolution. Meanwhile, the outer screen is a circular display with a 466 x 466 pixels resolution wrapped around by a ring-like camera module.

Speaking of which, the camera setup is a 50MP main shooter paired with a 2MP depth sensor. Under the hood, the Flip 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC and a 4310mAh battery with support for 33W charging. 

Other notable specs include a dual-rail suspended hinge that can withstand over 200k unfolds and colour options of either black or gold. The Flip 5G starts at only USD599 or ~RM2852, making it one of the most affordable foldable smartphones in the market.
