nubia today launched a new smartphone, the nubia V80 Max, for the Malaysian market. This device looks like a very solid entry-level phone. So, what should you know about it?
A solid entry-level phone on the market
For your information, the nubia V80 Max features a 6.9-inch HD+ screen with support for a 120Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 780 nits. This device is powered by a Unisoc T7250 processor chip coupled with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
Camera-wise, For the camera, the nubia V80 Max is equipped with a triple camera system with a 50MP AF + 2MP FF + 0.08MM setting, as well as a 16MP selfie camera on the front. To power the device, it is loaded with a 6000mAh battery capacity that supports 22.5W wired charging via the Type-C port and 10W reverse charging.
Others include Bluetooth 5.2 support, IP64 dust and splash resistance and running the Android 16-based MyOS 16 operating system. Four colour options are offered, namely Stardust Purple, Stellar Silver, Sky Cyan and Space Black.
Price and availability
The Nubia V80 Max is currently available at RM499 ( 8GB RAM +128GB) and RM599 ( 8GB RAM +256GB). Promotions are also being offered for walk-in customers at RM469 (8GB RAM +128GB) and RM569 (8GB RAM +256GB), valid until 31 January 2026.
In conjunction with the launch, exclusive gifts are also provided, including a tote bag, nubia wired earphones, a limited edition bookmark designed in collaboration with SEGi students, and one-year nubia Care+ screen protection.
