If you're the type to find those tiny front camera punch-holes distracting, you might appreciate this bit of news. Sources say nubia could launch a new phone with a new display later this year. More importantly, it's expected to be a global launch.
Yesterday, Digital Chat Station (DCS) posted a video on Weibo showing a "true full-screen design" display. This means the display doesn't have a notch or punch-hole blocking it, which should result in a better viewing experience for games and videos. In the video, the display also has incredibly thin bezels to enhance immersion.

The tipster claimed that nubia will be the first company to feature this new screen from BOE Display. Another source claimed that the device will be the successor to last year's nubia Z60 Ultra - the nubia Z70 Ultra. That does make sense since the nubia Z60 Ultra also doesn't have a punch-hole for the front camera. Mind you, the device in the video by DCS looks more like a tablet. Thus, we could see a tablet with this display sometime this year (or next year) too.
Personally, I love how thin the bezels are and not having a punch-hole is nice. But what do you think? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
