After being in the rumour mills for a while, ZTE subsidiary nubia has finally launched the highly anticipated nubia Z70 Ultra in China. Featuring top-of-the-range specs and features, read on to learn more.
The Z70 Ultra is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC paired with 12/16/24GB RAM and 246GB/512GB/1TB storage. Under the hood, there’s also a massive 6160mAh silicon-carbon battery which supports 80W charging via the USB-C port.
Meanwhile, the screen is a 6.85-inch 144Hz AMOLED made by BOE with a 1216 x 2688 pixels resolution, 2000 nits peak brightness, an under-display fingerprint scanner and a 7th gen 16MP under-display selfie camera. At the rear, the main camera is a 50MP Sony IMX906 main camera with 35mm optics and variable aperture paired with a 70mm equivalent 64MP periscope camera and a 50MP 13mm equivalent ultra-wide.
Other notable specs include a camera button, Android 15 via Nebula AIOS, an IP69 rating, 2-way satellite communication and colour options of either Black, Amber or Starry Night Blue. In China, the Z70 Ultra starts at CNY4599 or ~RM2836 for the 12/256GB variant, with availability in Malaysia yet to be announced, though it will launch globally on 26 November.
